Editorial "TND in Financial Desperation" By Ujjwal Bhattarai

I would like to appeal for your financial support to TND. TND has been burdened by bills of several indispensable services namely - the server cost for hosting of TND, the domain-name (theNepalDigest.org), and the post box. So far, members of TND team have been self-expensing for office utilities - such as phones, computers, Internet access to upload and maintain pages, and also for office supplies. More expenses are soon to be tackled as tax season approaches. The situation is very critical and TND needs your support. Support TND now!

With regard to returning to Nepal with an advance parole, you need to find out whether you accrued more than 180 days unlawful presence (out of status) in the U.S. prior to filing of your adjustment of status application (I-485). If your answer is "Yes," your departure will trigger a law that will make you subject to 3/10 years bar for admission into the United States as a lawful permanent resident depending on the length of your unlawful presence. You must assess your case and consequences before you decide to leave on advance parole.

Education plays a vital role in the prosperity  of a country - we have been told this by so many so many times from the time unknown. The whole administration machinery in the government is made of highly educated individuals. But there is violence, there is corruption, there is poverty, there is sickness. (MORE)

It is ironic that our stupid rulers are always eager to grease their hand from our common resources with a motley relation at different levels. There are ample evidences that we never learnt from the history due to vested interest of rulers. For example, we do not know where to complain about the sorrows of the Koshi. (MORE)
